Jeff
Kaplan, Chief Executive Officer
Jeff is a co-founder and Chief Executive Officer
of Apollo Data Technologies with over a decade
of data analysis and data mining experience
in a range of problem domains including healthcare,
financial services, telecommunications, and
public services. Prior to co-founding Apollo
Data Technologies, Jeff led product development
for Revenue Science, Inc. (formerly Digimine,
Inc.). It was
here that he incubated and launched their
enterprise analytics software and oversaw
the implementation for their Fortune 100
clients. Prior
to Digimine, Jeff was a global financial
and planning analyst for several divisions
of GE Capital, responsible for profit and
loss analysis and merger and acquisition
due diligence. Jeff
earned his accounting and marketing degrees
from the University of Wisconsin, and is
Six Sigma trained and certified. He sits
as an Advisor for the University of Wisconsin
Business Alumni Board.
Paul
Bradley, Ph.D., Chief Technology Officer
Paul is a co-founder, and Chief Technology
Officer at Apollo Data Technologies where
he directs software design and research and
development. Prior to co-founding Apollo Data
Technologies, Paul consulted on data mining algorithm integration
with Microsoft Research and SQL Server, and led data analysis solution
implementations for a number of Microsoft divisions. Earlier, Paul
was the data mining development lead at Revenue Science, Inc. (formerly
Digimine, Inc.), where he focused on integrating data mining technology
into the company’s
service offering. Prior to Digimine, Paul
was a researcher in the Data Management,
Exploration and Mining Group at Microsoft
Research, where he helped develop new data mining algorithms and components
that shipped with Microsoft’s flagship database
products SQL Server and Commerce Server.
Paul earned his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in computer
science, and a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin.
His research interests include classification and clustering algorithms,
underlying mathematical problem formulations, and issues related to
scalability. Paul served as Area Editor for the International Journal
on Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery and as Associate Editor of
SIGKDD Explorations, and was KDD-2003 Industrial Track Co-chair, KDD-2001
Exhibits Chair and KDD-2000 Publicity Chair.
Dan
Carlson, Vice President, Engineering
Dan leads the software development, integration
and support at Apollo. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing
the technology development and operations for the entire suite of
Apollo's predictive modeling solutions. Prior to joining Apollo, he
directed the business intelligence software development, deployment,
and support organization at International Game Technology, Inc. It
was here where Dan architected the industry's first business intelligence
standardized data model, data warehouse, and data visualization applications.
In addition, he led the development of the data warehouse ETL processes
that enabled rapid, non-invasive, and automated data integration from
client legacy data systems. Dan has over twelve years of experience
developing and managing enterprise business intelligence software
applications. He attended the University of Minnesota with a concentration
in information management systems.
Roman
Basko, Director, Data Architecture
Roman directs the architecture design of business
intelligence systems at Apollo Data Technologies.
Prior to joining the team at Apollo, Roman worked at Revenue Science,
Inc. (formerly digiMine, Inc.), where he was a senior architect responsible
for designing one of the world's first data-warehousing systems, capable
of processing terabytes of web, product, transaction, and customer data
on a daily basis. He also led the design and implementation of the SQL
aggregation engine and API used in digiMine's flagship solution. Earlier,
Roman worked with the Windows update team at Microsoft. Roman earned
his M.S. in Computer Science at the Moscow Institute of Physics and
Technology. He also served as a research assistant at the University
of Utah, Department of Physics and the Computer Center of the Russian
Academy of Sciences.
Sager
Chowlera, Director, Client Services
Sager directs Apollo's project management and analyst teams dedicated to providing solution implementation excellence. Prior to Apollo, he worked at a national healthcare company implementing analytic software solutions to address healthcare executive management business intelligence needs. Other experience includes roles as a field consultant with a leading revenue cycle consulting firm where he was focused on process re-engineering to identify and improve each facet of business flow, as a result accelerating cash collections and minimizing lost revenue. Sager earned his B.S. from UC San Diego in both Biology and Business Administration.
Jason
Merck, Director, System Engineering
Jason leads the technical implementation teams at Apollo. He brings ten years of healthcare consulting and technology experience. Prior to joining Apollo, Jason was with a national healthcare consulting firm focused on revenue cycle improvement and patient flow solutions. He has extensive experience developing software in the areas of denial management, contract management, bad-debt, charge capture, and AR analytics. Jason earned his B.S. from Oregon State University in Management Information Systems and Business Administration.
